I feel the winter On my fingers I feel the sea Calling me I feel the wind In my dreams I feel the forest calling me Back again Once, we were the windows To our own feral land Once, we were the giants In our fantasy Once, we were the Kings And the Queens of our fables Once, we were the free And the dreamless "Et moi aussi, je me suis senti prêt à tout revivre. Comme si cette grande colère m'avait purgé du mal, vidé d'espoir, devant cette nuit chargée de signes et d'étoiles, je m'ouvrais pour la première fois à la tendre indifférence du monde. De l'éprouver si pareil à moi, si fraternel enfin, j'ai senti que j'avais été heureux, et que je l'étais encore." "L'étranger" Albert Camus

I am bleeding from the darkened soul my mind’s become I am bitter to the cold, dead world that I call home I am chanting, hoping you will be known You are the sun, you are the only gods that belong to me

Winter eyes The moon falls to cover Broken time Leaves left rotting Forest fare to compare To the night that I fell from the dark To the light of your eyes And I was rotting too I am the dark The thunder in my heart is gone Shall I pass beyond? I am dark The thunder in my heart is gone

see what you have left a reflection of our own a heavenly body of toxic dust there's no cure no repair no use for this wasteland soul detached self estranged an unsound framework of bloodless veins endless wars burning frost no sky no ground all get lost you've worked hard your job is done you've fucked up this place but tell me, how we should go on? you didn’t start this you were not the first in line you shouldn’t be the end of it so please, make up your mind there must be a way a way to recover the things we can share and we can learn from each other aren't we born to shine? aren’t we born to grow? is this the way we'll learn how to respect, what we own? can't you see the fine line, between right and wrong? it seems, we went way too far now tell me, how we should go on? aren't we born to shine? aren’t we born to grow? is this the way we'll learn how to respect, what we own? can't you see the fine line, between right and wrong? it seems, we went way too far now tell me, how we should go on? aren't we born to shine? aren’t we born to grow? are you made for love or for a heart of stone? can you see the reason, before all is gone? are you still with me? then tell me the way we should go on

I trace the ashes The broken ends of my limbs I kneel to soil The wind catches my hands And I am falling To the depths of your world For the first time In your arms I'm alive Dark has become the world And I can see through you Your words are bare to bone Let the end come The roots of the earth The dark takes over You will be gone You are the soil to my grave Come the winter There will be no moon To beg for light again To be written Come the winter There will be no moon To cry to When the world is dark I am dying I am the earth to come

As the moon falls past the mountains for the last time As the snow falls through the echoes of a chanting night With the morning sunrise We'll be gone Here they come, Through the trees Brash and young, no memories Of what has become Of what was before them We will fall One by one Fight until We claim what was lost To Avalon Beyond the gods Our souls in the fire Of time And where we go We will be lore The roots of the earth Will speak our names Lighting fires With the ashen one Forever

When you’re young you think that everything will last forever. That time just moves slower. You feel every second. But as I grow older I realize that the forest doesn’t grow back, and the ocean is just somewhere else to occupy, and the sand won’t return once it’s eroded. And everything dies. I look out at the world now and think – What have we done? I have to remember That there once was a time that I could sleep through the night And I have to remember too To live and let live and just, everything will be alright The world won’t die in the span of my life. And I have to remember That this isn’t a dream and that we will Just ruin everything. There used to be a forest In all of our hearts There used to be a world That we were a part of. We have to find ourselves In the worst of times. We have to tell ourselves That we are alright. There used to be a forest.
